What was 2009 ? 2010 hell

Posting after 8 of the finest pints of guineess that youll ever have, so forgive any spelling/grammer mistakes.


2009 was weird, and tbh im not going to post a graph. I played less than 100K hands and broke even, at the same time bonus whoring made me over 3K. Not really that much fun. However I did cash pretty major (for me anyway) in a few live MTT's netting me well over $5K, for a ~$7K year.

Now however PTR will easily track my return to pokerstars, and this year started very similar to last year, with a major cash at the end of December combined with a savage downswing in January. Difference being both were bigger and better. Late December I cashed for over 2K in the $8r, $500 in the 30K GTD and $900 in an I-Poker donkament.

January was pure puke. TBH anyone on the forums that gives hand ranges are 6 max players, there ranges are all over the place. Seriously.

Any hand I posted on P5's, Cardschat and *** (not UPC for anyone wondering) I played it correctly but my God. Just look. TBH I can give around 5 buyins at nl$100 to pure insane tilt.

Yea, so after a heater on the MTT's I go on the biggest downswing of my life. And I hated it.

I have never, and I think ever experienced anything like it, seeing people hit top of their range every time, and watching 6max player act like it was cooler was making me think that i didnt realise what the game was about.

So, I move down, I switch to 6 max, even though im still up well over a grand in the space of a few weeks. Then I realise that the kiddie game is well loose and juicy, and full of fish.

Feb so far has been well decent, $150 deposit bonus, $60 in stellar rewards and ~15 buyins on nl$50 6-max. ~£300 for a Sunday millon cash from FPP's. Im running at 26bb/100 and raping the games for a change, no graph until the end of the month, but tbh a ~$1K 10 days feels a little bit like the old days.
