$100 Freeze Out at the Fitz

Jessz I run hotter than the sun in that place. The last time I played there I chopped a rebuy. Just back from tonights adventure, 2nd time in an age since i played there.

Tonight was a $100 freezout (€80) and kicked off with 65 or so runners. 10K starting stack and a 20 minute clock, and usual structure for an evening MTT, you need some run good to do well.

Things started great, I chipped up to 20K without being alllin, with a run of AK's and QQ + AA with me nailing flops. The QQ hand was especially nice, with the blinds at 50/100 I raise to 400 UTG and get 6 callers, and the all fold to my c-bet on a 922 flop.

I lost half of that stack the very following hand, with a decent read that I was bang on with. I check my option in the bb with J10s, and see a flop 3 handed J 10 3 rainbow. The sb was active as hell, and bets the flop, I call. He bets the 5 turn, I call, and the 7 river, I flat again (usually terribad, but he had been betting all streets in limped pots all night) He flips 46o and gets a few sighs from the regs, he is obv a drooler,and at least now I know it and I have position.

An hour of carddeadness follows, and eventually i get into a pot with Mr Drooler, he limps the CO and I raise on the button with AQs, and fire on a QQ2 flop, he thinks his 66 is golden and shoves into me, tyvm, and im back to 18K.

The next big hand happens an hour or so later, I get moved tables and with the blinds at 200/400 my 16 stack needs a helping hand. I get put into the button and a reg (I remember this guy from the previous tourney) argues that I have to sit out a hand and calls the floor. Floor rules for me, as its a new table, and he raises from the CO. I shove 88 and he snaps with Q9 stating I deserve to lose (WTF) I bink on the flop and make 40K (tyvm to the limpers).

Few steals, and before i know it im moving tables again, 18 left. FFS chip leader on my right, and he is playing like a maniac. I fold like it was going out of fashion for 3 orbits. So when I get KJo in the sb it looks like the immortal nuts, and its folded to me. I limp and shove when the inevitable raise come's. He tanks until one of the shortstacks calls the clock, he calls and im against A4o. Flop is KK2 and it holds. 65K.

The 65k holds steady until we are 10 handed and make the final table, top 7 get paid and there seems to be lots of shorties, and im only a little ahead of them. I steal the blinds to keep ahead, and the bubble bursts when the chip leader from earlier calls a shove with Kx to try to burst it. We get to 5 handed very quickly, when my paydirt hand hits. Blinds are 2/4K im on 60K, UTG minraises, I min-raise back with AA (risky but meh) and the button snap shoves, utg calls and i obv snap. Its KQ/JJ vs my AA and my hand holds. We are 4 handed, with one player crippled, and he is taken out very next hand.

Chip leader then asks us for a deal (he wasnt "that" far ahead) and I accept, €1k each on the condition that I forfeit league points (HA HA !!!! sound).
